In den angegebenen Orten werden die Piloten jeweils am Abend im Biwak zurückerwartet und starten daraus am Morgen auf die nächste Etappe.

Wo wir uns genau mit unseren Fahrzeugen herumtummeln, das werden wir jeweils am Vorabend der nächsten Etappe erfahren, wenn uns die Roadbooks abgegeben werden. Bis dahin ist alles streng geheim. Aber so wie es aussieht, werden wir von allem etwas dabei habe. Ich freue mich immer mehr!

The mentioned places are our bivouacs where the pilots will be awaited in the evening and start in the morning.

Where we are going to drive around we will see the evening before the next prime. Then we will get the road books. Until this moment, everything is strictly secret. But how it looks like, we will have a lot of variety. I’m always more on the race.

In der heutigen Zeit ist räumliche Distanz dank der Kommunikationsmittel nicht mehr spürbar. Mit meinem Team "Holando Rally Team" stehe ich mehrmals in der Woche in Kontakt. So erreichte mich gestern dieses Foto von einem unserer Teamfahrzeuge. Auch diese werden auf das Qualifikatiosrennen vorbereitet. Leutwil wurde ein wenig umbenannt, aber der kleine Schreibfehler wird noch ausgemerzt.

Today the spatial distance is no longer a problem, we do have a lot of possibilities to communicate. With my team "Holando Rally Team" I'm several times a week in contact. So I have got yesterday a photo from one of our team vehicles. Also these are going to be prepared for the qualification race. Leutwil was renamed, but this little error will be corrected.

Vorfreude ist ja die schönste Freude, die sollte man geniessen. An manchen Tagen geht diese Vorfreude ein wenig unter in den ganzen Vorbereitungen, die ich für mein erstes grosses Rennen, dem Desafio Ruta 40 zu treffen habe. Und obwohl es noch

84 Tage sind bis zum Start, rennt die Zeit wie verrückt.

Mein Hauptproblem zurzeit ist die Rennlizenz. So lange wie der Anlass dieser Dakar Series noch nicht im FIM Rennkalender ist, kann mir die FMS keine Lizenz ausstellen. Dabei habe ich vom Arzt die „Renntauglichkeit“ schon bestätigt bekommen, ohne Vorbehalte.

Das physische Training ist nun sehr ernst geworden. Zweimal in der Woche gehe ich ins konzentrierte Kraft-Ausdauer-Training und viermal in der Woche mache ich Intervall- und Ausdauertraining auf dem Velo oder dem Stepper.

Natürlich darf ich das Sponsorensuchen nicht vergessen. Gestern war ein Tag, an dem ich mich sehr über spontane Sympathie freuen konnte. So traten doch zwei neue Mitglieder in meinen Hunderterclub ein. Vielen Dank!

Ruhe finde ich zur Zeit im Schiesssport. Zum Glück ist die Saison wieder eröffnet, so dass ich mich nun wieder beim Schiessen entspannen kann und mich mental stärken. Noch besser wird das nun mit der richtigen Ausrüstung gehen. Marlis von Allmen näht nicht nur Jacken auf Mass, sondern vermietet auch solche.

Sponsoring wird nicht immer nur mit Geldwerten geleistet. Ein Set X-Bionic Funktionsunterwäsche für Motorradfahrer wurde mir gestern von Mavamoda in Seon www.mavamoda.ch (Marlis von Allmen) überreicht. Es wird kalt werden am Desafio Ruta 40, und mit dieser Unterwäsche werde ich sicherlich viel weniger davon spüren. Besten Dank.

Anticipation is the most beautiful delight. But some days this anticipation goes to the background while preparing everything for my first big race, the “Desafio Ruta 40”. There are still 84 days to the start of the race, but time is running like fool.

My main problem at the moment is to get the racing licence. As soon as the event is not registered in the FIM calendar, the FMS can’t make the licence. The doctor has confirmed my racing suitability, without any reservations.

The physically training is now very serious. Two times a week I have a strength-endurance training and four times a week I do my interval cardio training with my bike or with the stepper.

Of course I should not forget the search of sponsors. Yesterday I have got a lot of spontaneous sympathy. I have two new members in my “one hundred club”. Thanks a lot!

Rest I find in the shooting sports. The season has started and I can relax and force my mental strength during this sport. It will be much easier and give better results, because I have completed my equipment. Marlis von Allmen fabrics special jackets which can be also rented. Sponsoring is not only money. Die Ausstellung in Vaduz war nicht nur sehr gut organisiert und zeichnete sich aus durch eine hohe Qualität an Infrastruktur, sondern auch die familiäre Atmosphäre unter den Ausstellern und den vielen Besuchern liessen das Wochenende zum Vergnügen werden. Ich hatte meinen Platz in der Sondershow und durfte sehr interessierten Besuchern mehrmals meinen Vortrag über mein Projekt "Rallye Dakar 2017" präsentieren.

Obwohl die Rallye Dakar zu den medienwirksamsten Ereignissen neben der Formel 1 gehört, ist sie dennoch in der Schweiz und dem Fürstentum Lichtenstein nicht so bekannt. Das liegt vielleicht auch daran, dass die Fernsehübetragungen der Rallye Dakar auf Grund der Zeitverschiebung zu Südamerika im Fernsehen erst nach Mitternacht ausgestrahlt werden.

Viele Besucher/Innen habe ich kennengelernt und möchte mich bei dieser Gelegenheit bei allen bedanken, die wohlwollend mein "Rallye-Kässeli" gefüttert haben.

The exhibition in Vaduz was not only very well organized, also must be mentioned the high quality of the infrastructure. The atmosphere was very familar between the exhibitors and a lot of visitors and it was a pleasure to be there during the weekend. I had my place in the part of the special show. I presented my project "Rally Dakar" to a lot of interested visitors during several presentations.

Even if the Rally Dakar has a high media attention, as the Formula 1, in Switzerland and in the Principality of Lichtenstein it is not so well known. Perhaps the reason is that due to the time difference with South America the transmissions in TV are late in the night.

I got to know many visitors and with this occasion I would like to say thank you to all of them, who have fed my rallye cash register.
